Dr. Steve J. Vouis is a certified Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He’s been practicing for over 20 years in the La Mirada and Whittier areas and has personal knowledge with the challenges many women face in losing weight after having children.
As his practice grew and his patients began to request assistance in losing weight after having their children, he began to study the field of weight loss. His understanding and knowledge lead him to open the La Mirada Medical Weight Control center because he did not like hearing about the gimmicks his patients were trying.
His center soon expanded to include men and children as his studies expanded once he became a member of the American Society of Bariatrics.
Dr. Vouis is a respected and caring physician who wants everyone to experience good health and energy which is what he strive to achieve for everyone who walks through the La Mirada Medical Weight Control center.
